I absolutely loved living at Ellison on Broad for the past two years. The location was incredibly convenient, just a ten-minute walk from downtown, which made my commute effortless. The apartment itself was spacious and filled with natural light from the large windows overlooking the town. The building amenities were excellent—the fitness center was well-maintained, and the rooftop terrace was great. Management was responsive whenever I had maintenance requests, usually addressing issues within twenty-four hours.

Everything is clean and the interior has such a beautiful aesthetic. Everything is very comfortable and the pool ist just great. You can also play pool or table tennis, what I really like. The fitness room is great and it’s very dog friendly.

The staff are friendly and they resolve concerns quickly. They are very fast when an emergency or a problem arises in the apartment, so any issues are resolved within a day most of the time.

Ellison is a beautiful apartment complex. The amenities are wonderful. I love our apartment as well. It is within walking distance to the main street which is lovely. Just be careful when opening the garage gate as it lifts out towards your car so don’t get too close. I can’t wait to use the pool when the weather gets a little warmer!

Overall has been a wonderful experience. The staff are all incredibly friendly as are most of the residents! There was an incident where one resident had the police called on him. I was working in a common area and saw him throw one of the dollies across the room. The power does go out sometimes but that’s a Duke Energy issue, rather than an Ellison on Broad issue. The gym is nice and the grounds are always well maintained. Sometimes I hear other residents through the walls but it’s rare.

My move was very easy. It was really nice to show up to a super clean apartment, and a few nice neighbors stopped by to say hello. I accidentally locked myself out once, and the super was very helpful. I am taking advantage of the onsite gym and am also really enjoying the ability to walk to so many shops and restaurants. I highly recommend Ellison on Broad.

We moved in only a few short weeks ago, and this place already feels like home. The leasing office staff are by far the most friendly and helpful team I have ever come across in all of my apartment living. The building is well maintained and taken care of by staff and the residents. The sense of community is also really pleasant and respectable. The location is perfection. We love living here!

Ellison on Broad is the perfect place to call home! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being a resident here for many reasons. The amenities are fantastic, the maintenance is beyond helpful, and the community (both staff and residents) are warm and welcoming. I feel safe and secure too which is something I paid close attention to when touring apartments in Greenville. Not to mention, the location is incredible. I love Ellison! It’s been a great place to live. There have been a few amenity and safety issues that have been issues - poor lighting outside the zen garden and in the dog park, fob systems going down and people propping doors open, hot tub being down for extended periods, fire pit not working, zen garden tv not working and furniture always being a disaster. A lot of this has to do with the owners not being willing to make upgrades or put money into the property. Maintenance has been a saving grace for this property!

The apartment is lovely and easy to get around in. I think I would’ve liked a larger refrigerator. Everything else was really nice. The only drawback is that this building should have more than one set of elevators, since there is a long walk from our apartment to the elevator.

Overall, we've enjoyed living at the Ellison! Clear articulation of the various digital platforms used by the building would be my only current suggestion for management. For maintenance, I would push for regular upkeep of hallway painting to avoid eye sores. I look forward to seeing how Greystar continues to provide great service and living environment!

Nearly everything about Ellison is perfection! Amenities, views, finishings, location, and staff are all above and beyond. However, the package situation is less than ideal. The self-serve package locker often has other resident packages in the locker coded for you (I know this isn’t ellisons fault - but it could be improved) and if a package is too large it is left at the main office which closes at 6 (therefore unable to leave the office and workout and receive package on same day). If there was a room dedicated to packages with a mandatory unique code entry (like the majority of other buildings) residents would be able to self serve and all would be wonderful.

We recently moved to The Ellison on Broad and are loving it so far! The staff here are truly amazing! They are friendly, professional, caring, attentive, and really make it feel like home! The location is great! Close enough to walk to everything, yet just far enough away from all of the noise & traffic on Main Street. Great amenities! So far everyone we've met in the building have been very friendly! We love how dog friendly this building is~ there is a beautiful and clean dog park. The layout of our apartment is really great!

This is the best place I have lived in the adult portion of my 69 years of life. Love the location, amenities, staff and residents. I am an architect and really appreciate the great quality of the architectural design, detailing and implementation of the design by the construction team. And the staff creates fun events for everyone. The maintenance team is talented and very responsive. Thank you to the developer and the management company for doing a great job of making my experience at Ellison .....awesome!

I absolutely love living at Ellison. They go out of their way to make each resident feel like family. It’s incredibly dog friendly and the amenities are well maintained and beautiful. You can’t beat the location and my pup and I enjoy being able to walk anywhere downtown. Sure it’s an apartment, so noise and occasional maintenance issues are inevitable, but overall it’s very quiet and maintenance is always addressed as quickly as possible. The community is unlike any place I’ve ever lived and it sometimes feels more like a dorm than a neighborhood (but the good parts). I plan to stay here as long as I can!

Pros: clean, safe, mostly friendly neighbors, good for dogs, nice apartments and in-apartment amenities, maintenance is great, staff is quick to react to any issue, events are fun, plenty of amenities Cons: expensive, there are less amenities than there were a few years ago, some areas of the building get overlooked and are not kept up with as well (such as the garden), loud (hallways and upstairs neighbors), leasing staff seems annoyed when residents have issues, and the leasing office has started to turn off office lights and keep doors closed even during open hours when they are in the office (which isn’t welcoming and makes it look like they’re closed and people feel like they can’t come in)

The location cannot be beat. And it's the quiet end of downtown if that's important to you. The enclosed dog park and the Manager Nicole closed the deal for us. However, the amenities and feel of the property is like a 5-star getaway. If it couldn't get any better than this, well then the fellow residents are just incredible - so welcoming, so friendly, and so happy it's contagious. Sure hope Nicole, Erica (welcome), Justin, and Wayne all stick around so that we can all continue to cultivate and maintain the sense of community. Come here and join in the fun.

Whenever I'm coming home to Ellison from a walk or a drive, I get into a good mood when I see our building getting closer and closer. It represents enjoyment, safety, and some of the nicest people anywhere (residents and staff). Ellison's location is perfect for places I like to go downtown, and the apartment is just right for me and my cat. Now if only I could come home one day to find she's done some dusting. This is my first year living at Ellison, and I can honestly say I have really enjoyed it! The sound barrier for the apartments is lacking, however, part of that is living in an apartment... Originally I had planned on only staying here for one lease term, but now I plan on renewing for another year!

The residents and office staff make our apartment complex feel like a community. After a long day, I can pretty much count on one of my neighbors being out back with their dogs so I dont have to worry about my girl not getting exercise. Ellison on Broad is the best place I've ever lived at. I love everything about the building – my apartment, the amenities, the location. And everyone who works here is so kind and welcoming and goes out of their way to make you feel like part of their family.

I have never lived in such a place like EOB! Not only do I feel safe and secure, but I am surrounded by an outstanding community that offers fun events, fabulous amenities, easy to work with staff, and overall has an incredible living environment. Coming home to such an uplifting and beautiful place never gets old!

Ellison is a great place to live. It is different than any other apartment complex that I've lived in. Everyone is super nice and respectful with noise and pets. The location is perfect with it being walking distance to downtown and with North Hampton Wine across the street. The resident events are different every month. My favorite is always Movie on the Roof. The office staff is always very nice and helpful with any issues, especially when it comes to tracking down packages. All around, this is the best place to live.

I haven't been a resident here very long but so far I love it! Everyone is so nice and helpful and the building is constantly maintained to a high standard. I can't imagine living anywhere else in Greenville!

Wish pool wasn't in middle it gets really loud screaming and such. And parking kinda stinks hard to fight for spot and I have knee issues and hard to walk far. And also like that it is short term only here another month and half. Wish we had pizza day .

As mentioned, cleanliness of the common areas is important. We use the steps and the entrances can be nicer. The carpets are regularly cleaned, that's good. Dogs aren't always picked up after - inside, believe it or not. That is bothersome. Some noise from neighbors, not too bad and can be expected. Management and maintenance are very responsive. Five stars for them.

Amazing location, close to Main St downtown but also far enough to avoid the extra noise, Top of line amenities with the best Management and Maintenance staff of any downtown apartment community! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the Downtown Greenville Life Experience!

Ellison is the absolute best apartment complex, management is so approachable and always there to help with a smile on their faces. I've lived at Ellison for just over two years and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to live near downtown. Set back just far enough from Main street that you can pop into any shop or restaurant with ease it's a relaxing and quiet location with very little traffic. The amenities are also great! Perhaps the best thing about Ellison though is the monthly events, I truly don't know why all apartments don't do this for residents! The events are casual and fun and make it easy to meet other people living here.

I love living here. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Maintenance requests are always responded to in a timely manner. The community feels so safe. Not to mention my apartment is beautiful! I couldn't ask for a better place to live in downtown Greenville!

EOB feels like a home. I can enjoy my super comfortable apartment AND socialize at community events! It's the best of both worlds. If I want to eat out or get take out, I don't have to fight for parking downtown because I am already in downtown!

We arrived May 11 th and almost immediately we had a maintenance problem that was resolved in a matter of minutes. He was very pleasant and helpful. He also went out of his way to help with a light I needed advise about. Great way to start our stay. Thanks.

Ellison is the best place to live! The longer I stay here, the more I love it. Nothing beats the amenities it offers and the location downtown. Voted best apartments in GVL several years in a row for good reason, the staff is so friendly and amazing and works hard to make everyone feel at home.
